Jonathan Butler has recently represented Social Worker X in the case of Z County Council –v- TS and Ors [2008] EWHC 1773 (Fam). The Court considered the issues surrounding the availability of information arising from proceedings under the Children Act 1989, when a television company wished to make a documentary about (amongst others) a local authority employee. It was held that where this could lead to the identification of a child, such information would not be made available.
