Recruitment - Pupillage

Pupillage Undertaken

We are a long established set of Chambers providing advocacy and advice in all aspects of criminal, civil and family work. Every pupil will spend time in each main area with usually an emphasis, during the first six months, in one or two likely specialisms. The second six months are in preparation for a tenancy.

Application Details

Chambers are not a member of OLPAS. All applications should be addressed to the Committee with a CV, handwritten covering letter and stamped addressed envelope. The Closing date for applications is the 31 st January of the year in which pupillage is sought. We look for a good academic background from an established Law Faculty.

Applications for mini-pupillages should be addressed to the Pupillage Committee clearly marked ‘Mini-pupillage’ with CV, handwritten covering letter and stamped addressed envelope.

Pupillage funding is consistent with Bar Council Regulations [grant and guaranteed earnings].

One pupillage is likely to be made available each year. See Pupillage handbook.
