David Watson practised in these chambers from 1963 to 1971 and thereafter as a solicitor in private practice until returning to the Bar in October 1999 practising solely in the field of family law.
He specialises in dealing with public law Children Act work, including the representation of parents, Guardians ad Litem and local authorities in cases involving, issues of physical, sexual and emotional abuse of children.
His experience extends to adoption, private Children Act work and injunctive relief.
As well as experience at the Bar, he has substantial experience as a Solicitor-Advocate (he was an accelerated Higher Courts Advocate) and was a long-standing member of the Law Society Children Panel.
