Matthew draws upon his expertise in the field of employer’s liability (as co-author of a leading practitioner text) within niche employment areas:
- Health & Safety related dismissals and disclosures (drawing upon extensive knowledge of EU and domestic Health & Safety Law)
- Disability Discrimination (drawing upon medical expertise acquired conducting substantial Multi-Track injury litigation on a regular basis)
- TUPE (drawing upon experience of organisational structures in a variety of employment contexts)
Examples of such cases conducted at Tribunal or EAT level include:
- Group claim arising from alleged protected disclosures concerning lead exposure (instructed for successful respondent; reserved judgment disposed of associated occupational illness claims)
