Mr Ahmed is regularly instructed on both Public law and Private law matters. In respect of Public law (children) work, he has represented local authorities, children and parents/grandparents in relation to Care Orders, Supervision Orders, and Adoption proceedings. As to the latter, Mr Ahmed’s knowledge and experience of Immigration law, has proved a valuable asset in advising on matters of international adoption.

In private law Mr Ahmed represents parties on al aspects, from separation/divorce to all associated matters, including ancillary relief and Trust of Land claims, as well as (where children are involved) applications for Residence, Contact orders and other related Orders.

Mr Ahmed also frequently attends for injunctions hearings on domestic violence matters , as well as finding of fact hearings.

Mr Ahmed’s language skills (fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic) is often a valuable asset when communicating directly with a nervous, and often frightened, client of ethnic minority group.
