Personal Injury

Prior to being called to the Bar in 2001 Siraj Ahmed was an associate partner in the civil litigation department of a well-established North West law firm, specialising in Personal Injury and General Civil Litigation.

Mr Ahmed’s workload comprises all types of personal injury work , ranging from road traffic accident claims, employer liability, public liability, and occupiers’ liability to clinical negligence and industrial disease, in both fast-track and multi-track, and in the County Courts, High Courts, and Court of Appeal.

Civil Litigation: As a civil litigator, Mr Ahmed undertakes both commercial and non-commercial litigation work, and has represented litigants on contract matters, Probate and land disputes, and also commercial organisations such as Care Homes, and Charities. Mr Ahmed is also experienced in professional negligence litigation.

Civil Mediation: In addition to the advocacy, Mr Ahmed is also a qualified civil mediator.

Further, thanks to his language skills (being fluent in Gujarati , Hindi, and Urdu) is able to converse with many clients in their native tongue.

Mr Ahmed often travels to solicitors’ offices for conferences and, if circumstances justify, is happy to accompany solicitors to other venues most suitable to solicitor or client.
