Stephen Bedford’s area of practice is family law, including all aspects of the law relating to children, both public and private law, dealing with issues relating to physical, emotional and sexual abuse as well as more standard disputes concerning arrangements for residence and contact.

In the area of public law he appears for local authorities, parents and other relatives, children (capable of giving their own instructions) and children’s guardians (including CAFCASS Legal).

His other area of specialism is matrimonial finance and property.
